Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A driver to deliver food and related products across intrastate and interstate routes. You will be the face of the company, building relationships with customers while ensuring timely, safe deliveries.

Responsibilities include route delivery, loading/unloading, DOT-compliant inspections, and accurate paperwork. A valid CDL-A and DOT Health Card are required, with 21+ years of age and 6+ months driving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• DOT Health Card up to date.
• Ability to lift and move freight up to 90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Drive and deliver orders according to route schedule.
• Perform safety checks and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Insure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and documented.
• Complete paperwork and log hours of service accurately.
• Secure and unlock equipment and facilities after shift.
• Unload products at customer locations and obtain signatures.
• Assist with general housekeeping and safety practices.
