Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a dedicated CDL-A Driver to deliver food products across intrastate and/or interstate routes. You will represent the company professionally, ensuring timely, safe deliveries and excellent customer interactions.

The role offers a 4- or 5-day work week with optional overnight stays and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible drivers, plus day-one health benefits and per diem compensation. Join a team that values safety, reliability, and customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience.
• Must meet all state licensing/certification requirements.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Meets MVR requirements for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements.
• Pass road test.
• Able to secure DOT Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections and report issues.
• Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Unload freight and verify items against invoices.
• Load and secure freight on tractor/trailer.
• Maintain accurate records of hours and daily activities.
• Ensure proper handling and security of freight during delivery.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and coworkers as needed.
• Fulfill other duties to support the company.
