Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is hiring Office Agents in New York to support shipping operations. You will coordinate shipping instructions at the customer services counter, retrieve and deliver import/export documents, and ensure compliance with TSA, FAA and carrier rules.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and able to work in the United States if the location is US.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Convey shipping instructions to the customer services counter.
• Retrieve import documents and deliver export documents to/from aircraft.
• Accept cargo per TSA, FAA, Government and Air Carrier rules.
• Release imported freight after CBP clearances and authorizations.
• Collect air freight charges and handle customer calls professionally.
• Document discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.
• Enter data into the company information system and prepare freight docs.
