Job summary

Alliance Ground International (AGI) seeks a Cargo Warehouse Agent to support fast-paced aviation ground services in the United States. The role involves loading, unloading, and transporting cargo and mail, plus operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

You will ensure airway bill accuracy and perform security screening while maintaining high safety standards. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain an airport badge with customs

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug screen and extensive background checks.

Responsibilities

• Sort, load/unload, and transport cargo and US Mail.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack as required.
• Enter airway bill data accurately and conduct security screening of cargo.
• Remove Foreign Object Debris (FOD) around the cargo warehouse.
• Maintain punctuality, preparedness, and safety at all times.

Roles and responsibilities

• Sort, load/unload, and transport cargo and US Mail
• operate a forklift and pallet jack as required
• Ensure airway bill data is entered accurately and perform security screening of cargo prior to transport
• Remove Foreign Object Debris (FOD) from in and around the cargo warehouse
• Be on time, be prepared, and be safe

Physical qualifications

• Be able to travel to complete up to 3 weeks of paid Airline Cargo Warehouse training - Transportation, meals, and accommodations will be provided
• Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Be able to pass a drug screen and obtain airport security clearance, which includes an extensive 10-year employment, criminal record, and residence background check

Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) unassisted
• Bend, kneel, and stoop on a frequent basis
• Work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises. Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
