Wallick Senior Living in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver for Oakleaf Village Columbus (5500 Karl Road). This full-time 3rd shift role runs 11pm–7am and focuses on daily resident care, hygiene support, and assisting with activities to maintain independence and quality of life.

Provide compassionate service, respond to call lights, assist with mobility and activities, and perform routine caregiving tasks.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming to include bathing and toileting.
• Answers call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident's and / or family needs.
• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
• Assists residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
