JWCH Institute, Inc. seeks a Care Team Specialist Graveyard to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting unhoused individuals at the LAG/USC Recuperative Care Center in Los Angeles.

You will build rapport, practice harm reduction, and assist with safety and client engagement across night shifts, contributing to a supportive community and effective care delivery. Responsibilities include maintaining floor safety, documenting incidents, coordinating with care teams, and ensuring confidential

Qualifikationen

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Experience working with homeless persons or populations.
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing; professional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use email, database programs and MS Word/Excel.

Aufgaben

• Establish a positive rapport with clients and express concern for their well-being.
• Demonstrate understanding of harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
• Follow crisis protocols and assist with de-escalation.
• Escort clients to appointments and monitor floor safety.
• Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of documents.
• Document incidents and report to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Answer front desk duties as needed.
• Support emergency and behavioral health personnel during incidents.
