Job summary

Wesley Health Centers - JWCH Institute, Inc. in Los Angeles seeks a Shift Lead to oversee graveyard shifts in the Cecil Hotel Interim Housing Program.

You will supervise staff, coordinate medical and behavioral health services, and ensure precise EMR documentation while promoting trauma-informed care and patient safety. You will collaborate with Case Managers to run Life Skills activities, maintain compliance with DHS and JWCH requirements, and support staff training and quality improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• CNA or MA certification required, or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory/lead role in healthcare or related field.
• Experience in supportive housing or with homeless populations preferred.
• Experience documenting patient care and maintaining EMR preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; bilingual ability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide facility oversight during graveyard shifts.
• Coordinate with medical staff for timely medical care and patient needs.
• Schedule and facilitate Life Skills groups with Case Managers.
• Ensure accurate documentation in EMR and contract compliance.
• Support quality assurance and staff training initiatives.
• Lead staff on documentation practices and safety programs.
• Protect patient confidentiality and proper information sharing.
• Participate in required safety and compliance trainings.
