Job summary

Belong Birkdale, a values-led care provider, seeks a Care Team Leader for night shifts. You will lead the night care team, oversee medication administration, and ensure up-to-date care records and plans while promoting resident wellbeing and independence.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or progression), leadership experience, and strong communication and record-keeping abilities. A compassionate, organised approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
• Has experience leading or supervising a team.
• Organised, compassionate and confident in decision-making.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
• Experience supporting people living with dementia would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting the night care team
• Administering and overseeing medication safely and accurately
• Maintaining care records and ensuring care plans remain up to date
• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and responding appropriately to changing needs
• Supporting and coaching colleagues to deliver outstanding care
