Job summary

University Living in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Care Partner to support residents with daily activities and create a home-like environment. The role requires empathy, a positive attitude, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; shifts include 7:00pm to 6:00am during scheduled weeks.

The position is full-time with a pay range of $18–$21 per hour and benefits such as a 401(k) match, health/dental/vision insurance, disability coverage, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Empathy to connect with residents in vulnerable moments.
• Strong communication with residents and team members.
• Basic computer skills for printing and entering resident data.
• Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
• Create an inclusive and positive environment through empathy and engagement.
• Be proactive in supporting residents and participating in trainings and development.
