Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or higher and a Care Certificate.
• Previous experience working in a care environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and person‑centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, professional and flexible in your approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care and support to older people during night shifts.
• Assist with personal care and night‑time routines.
• Support residents with mobility and safe moving practices.
• Respond to residents' needs throughout the night.
• Promote dignity, privacy and independence at all times.
• Provide companionship and reassurance when needed.
• Monitor residents' health, wellbeing and comfort.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of care.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
