Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Perimeter Assessment in Nashville, TN. The role involves providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while enforcing site policies and safety procedures.

You will conduct patrols across campus facilities and perimeter locations, monitor access points, respond to incidents calmly, and document activities through clear reports and logs.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors while following site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings and perimeter locations to identify issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized access or hazards.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence-adjacent spaces, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting unauthorized access, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
