Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray and baton preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and emergency response at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, access points, equipment areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following site escalation protocols.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify authorized personnel and vehicles, document activity.
• Maintain reports and records of patrols, incidents, and equipment concerns.
