Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years of custodian/cleaning experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Fluent in English language and able to communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling; transport materials to campus dumpsters and compactors.
• Perform specialized cleaning services such as carpet extraction, window cleaning, floor care, and stain removal.
• Respond to facility emergencies including water leaks and floods; assist with restoration.
• Transport custodial equipment and supplies between buildings and maintain equipment in safe condition.
• Inspect and perform routine maintenance on custodial equipment and supplies.
• Identify and report building maintenance issues observed while performing duties.
