Phoenix Children\'s Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Scientist to join our Blood Bank team in the Phoenix area. This 0.9 FTE, hourly night shift position requires blood bank testing experience.

You will perform and interpret complex tests, ensure accuracy, maintain quality control, and participate in new procedures. The MLS II role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the supervisor and lab staff.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a Clinical Laboratory Science program or equivalent with high complexity testing experience.
• Current nationally recognized certification (ASCP or equivalent) required.
• Experience in blood bank testing preferred.

• Prepare clear, accurate reports of test results and analyses for patient treatment decisions.
• Participate in development of new procedures, instrumentation, and quality initiatives.
• Maintain professional competency and stay current with literature and best practices in medical technology.
• Perform standard, complex and specialized patient testing and quality control testing as assigned.
• Troubleshoot instrument and test result issues and ensure accurate results.
