Job summary

Azenta Inc. is hiring a 3rd Shift Biobank Technician I in the Indianapolis area to register, label, retrieve, and discard irreplaceable biological and production materials while maintaining strict temperature controls and traceability.

The role requires following SOPs and regulatory standards (GMP/GLP/ISO) and using the inventory system to ensure chain of custody. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2+ years of related experience, with life sciences and Excel skills advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience demonstrating teamwork, self-motivation, detail orientation, and professionalism.
• Life Sciences experience preferred.
• GMP/GTP/CLIA Experience, preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Register samples into the inventory management system.
• Scan sample barcodes and check quality against manifests.
• Store materials at required temperatures in designated storage units.
• Retrieve and package materials for lab services and shipments.
• Perform discard quality checks and document issues found.
