Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a Biobank Technician I for the 2026 Spring/Summer Life Sciences Graduates program.

This full-time, 2nd shift role (3:30 pm–12:00 am, Mon-Fri) involves registering, labeling, retrieving and discarding irreplaceable biological materials while maintaining required temperatures. You'll follow SOPs and regulatory standards (GMP, GLP, GDP, ISO, CAP) and use the inventory system to ensure chain-of-custody and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' experience demonstrating teamwork, self-motivation, detail orientation, and professionalism.
• Life Sciences experience preferred.
• GMP/GTP/CLIA Experience, preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read/understand/interpret basic correspondence in English.

Responsibilities

• Register, label, retrieve and discard biological materials while maintaining temperatures.
• Follow SOPs and regulatory standards (GMP, GLP, GDP, ISO, CAP) as outlined in SOPs.
• Use inventory management system and maintain chain of custody and audit trails.
• Generate location management reports and assist with facility upkeep.
