The Recovery Village Cherry Hill at Cooper (RVCH) is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician for full-time night shifts. The role emphasizes patient observation, safety, and teamwork within a 90-bed facility in Cherry Hill, NJ, supporting the treatment continuum from detox to aftercare with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years patient care experience or 1 year with Associate's degree.
• Good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor patients and report to the supervisor and clinical team.
• Enforce facility program rules in a firm but fair and professional manner.
• Communicate patient behavior to the supervisor and clinical team as appropriate.
• Address problem behaviors using verbal de-escalation techniques.
• Adhere to time schedules and shift requirements.
• Maintain healthy and professional boundaries with patients and staff.
• Ensure documentation is timely, clear, and legible; keep clinical records secure.
