Job summary

The Emily Program is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support adult clients in a residential setting. The role involves assisting with daily living, participating in care plans, and helping residents build skills to manage their eating disorders.

Responsibilities include providing meals/snacks support, supervising activities, and documenting observations. Evening and overnight shifts with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with one year of mental health experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mental health field with 0-1 year of experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming
• Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation
• Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts
• Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise.
• Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks
