• Bachelor's degree required with emphasis on human behavior, child development, family intervention or related fields.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred as stated in job posting.

Responsibilities

• Acts as initial contact for inquiries about inpatient psychiatric hospitalization.
• Collects demographic, parent/guardian and guarantor information; basic clinical information.
• Coordinates inpatient registrations in a timely manner.
• Collaborates with nursing, physicians, milieu managers, and clinicians.
• Performs bed management with nursing and youth care managers.
• Ensures accuracy of demographic and insurance information in the system.
• Explains facility policies and obtains consent/insurance forms when appropriate.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties or projects as assigned by management.
