University Health in Kansas City, MO seeks an Inpatient Behavioral Health Clinical Nurse - RN Nights for the NKC location. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts. The RN delivers safe, compassionate behavioral health care, develops care plans, and collaborates with the care team.

North Kansas City site offers growth opportunities and patient-centered care. Minimum requirements include an accredited nursing degree, MO RN license, and BCLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care based on patient needs and clinical setting.
• Collaborate with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and clinical competency.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills specific to the assigned clinical area.
• Promote quality improvement, patient and staff safety, and culturally responsive care.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered service.
• Participate in education, committees, program evaluation, research, and student supervision as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, organizational policies, and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
