Job summary

St. Gregory Recovery Center in Bayard, IA, seeks a Behavioral Health Associate for night shifts. This on-site role supports a multidisciplinary treatment team, monitors client behaviors, and provides continuous care, supervision, and crisis response.

The position offers new hourly rates and shift differentials. Education includes a high school diploma with preference for 6+ months in a behavioral health setting. CPR and de-escalation training are required or provided on hire.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience with the specific population preferred.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required or provided on hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client safety and a structured, supportive environment.
• Perform safety checks and monitor client behaviors.
• Engage clients in activities and group therapy to support treatment goals.
• Document client data accurately and report changes to supervisors.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes as needed.
• Respond to crises and medical emergencies as required.
