Job summary

Ivory Plains Recovery Center in Adair, Iowa is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech - Recovery to support a multidisciplinary treatment team. You will monitor client behaviors, provide continuous client care, supervision, and respond in crisis situations as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and may involve six months of population-specific experience, CPR certification, de-escalation training, and safety checks. Onsite with 12-hour shifts; night shifts available; benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population preferred.
• Knowledge of common psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the wellbeing of clients and provides a safe, positive, supportive, and structured environment.
• Maintains a constant awareness and supervision of clients.
• Checks clients for contraband and manages the client’s belongings.
• Charts in client records timely, accurately, and appropriately.
