Responsibilities include conducting rounds, documenting in real time, and communicating patient and family needs effectively. Requires BLS CPR certification, English fluency, and High School diploma, with preferred vocational training.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in health care.
• Proficient with patient records systems and basic computer tasks.
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
• BLS CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Observes patients to detect behavior patterns and reports observations to the nurse or clinician.
• Implements patient-centered and trauma-informed care.
• Creates and supports a therapeutic environment for safe treatment.
• Performs observation rounds and documents in real time to detect patterns.
• Uses clear communication to assess and address patient and family needs.
