Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas is seeking a Paramedic to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. You will perform bedside assessments, administer medications as ordered, participate in rounds and safety huddles, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and EMS teams to ensure timely interventions.

The ideal candidate has a state-licensed Paramedic certification, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year of field or clinical experience. High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in paramedicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in bedside shift reports, safety huddles, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding.
• Provides quality patient care under physician direction and in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
• Administers medications when ordered by the physician and delegated by the RN.
• Documents interventions in a timely manner and ensures patient safety per policies.
