Job summary

Stew Hansen Dodge, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking a Night Shift Automotive Service Technician to perform accurate repairs on vehicles, focusing on used car inspections and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

This role features a 4-day schedule (Mon-Thu, 4pm-2am) with opportunities for professional growth through ASE or manufacturer certifications, PRO TECH perks, and competitive compensation with investment in tools and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Accommodating and analytical, while producing highly precise and accurate work
• Resourceful and seeks a high level of technical expertise
• Unselfish and approachable with a preference for detailed, skill-based work
• Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience preferred
• ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications highly preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S with a valid in-state driver\'s license and a good driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and expert work on repair orders, in accordance with dealership, state and factory standards
• Address customers’ primary concerns with diagnosis, repair and quality control to attain ‘Fixed First Visit’ expectations
• Perform the Ken Garff Electronic Multi Point Inspection along with video on every vehicle; notify Service Advisor if more time or additional recommendations are needed
• Master our Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication and time keeping
• Complete required training as assigned
• Maintain cleanliness throughout workspace and in all customer vehicles
