Job summary

Apsilon Hotels, LLC is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure all hotel accounts balance each night and to prepare the Daily Sales and Revenue Report. The role includes posting room charges, basic math tasks, and supporting front desk duties such as checking in late arrivals.

The Night Auditor will also be responsible for submitting nightly figures to corporate, opening lobby hours, and setting up continental breakfast while maintaining safety and accuracy in daily financial activities.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Night Auditor will post department transactions, compile information to verify accuracy, and ensure all hotel accounts are balanced on every night shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Post room and tax accurately each shift. Verify postings to the Housekeepers and Rooms Revenue Report.
• Balance all income within proper accounts.
• Prepare the Daily Sales and Revenue Report.
• Perform all activities of a Front Desk agent, including welcoming and checking in late arriving guests.
• Submit nightly figures and fax Daily Sales and Revenue Reports as assigned to corporate headquarters.
• Complete audit bag and close out the day on register.
• Handle guest’s last minute ordering for breakfast.
• Set up Continental Breakfast presentation.
• Open lobby doors at assigned time.
• Maintains awareness of reports for any and all safety hazards or violations witnessed in the course of performing required duties.
• Performs other duties as requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk the entire shift, talk and/or hear.
