Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a Front Desk Specialist or receptionist preferred.
• Familiar with hotel reservation software.
• Understanding of travel planning websites.
• Identify and address guest concerns and expectations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work all shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs all check-in and check-out related tasks.
• Manages online and phone reservations.
• Welcomes guests upon arrival and assigns rooms.
• Registers guests, collecting necessary contact information.
• Informs customers of payment methods and verifies credit card information.
• Provides information about the hotel, as well as all Company promotions and events.
• Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Works with housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are clean and fully furnished.
• Confirms group reservations and arranges personalized services for VIP guests.
• Promotes additional services, when appropriate.
• Maintains updated records of bookings and payments.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
