Job summary

Key West Historic Inns Collection in Key West, FL is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight hotel operations, guest check-ins/out, and the nightly audit. You’ll balance accounts, resolve discrepancies, and provide friendly, attentive service during late hours.

You’ll work independently, handle unexpected situations with good judgment, and collaborate with front desk teams to ensure a smooth morning shift. A high school diploma and cash handling experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cash handling experience required.
• 1–2 years of Night Auditor / Front Desk or similar hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems.
• Dependable and able to stay focused overnight.
• Flexible availability including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs during the overnight shift.
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
• Complete the nightly audit, verify guest accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist guests with questions, requests, and concerns that may arise overnight.
• Respond to unexpected situations with good judgment and involve the appropriate leader when needed.
• Help maintain the safety and security of the hotel during overnight hours.
• Provide friendly, attentive service and create a welcoming experience for every guest.
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to address guest needs.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and the Key West area to assist guests confidently.
• Keep the Front Desk organized and brief the morning team about overnight activity.
