Job summary

The Marriott Jacksonville Downtown, operated by HEI Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Night Auditor to perform nightly audit operations, maintain financial controls, and coordinate with Security and Housekeeping to ensure top-notch guest service. You will balance revenue and settlements, run front-office reports, correct discrepancies, and prepare daily summaries.

The role requires accurate math, strong computer skills, and clear communication with teammates.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate calculations using a 10-key.
• Ability to handle guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing POS tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, tips, and settlements.
• Run audit reports from front office system, POS, and computer.
• Make corrections and adjustments and resolve computer problems during shift.
• Input revenue/expenses/allowances into front office system to generate daily reports.
• Balance revenue and settlement accounts nightly and reset systems for next day operations.
• Attend to schedule and be available to work regularly.
