Job summary

Premier Management's Fairfield Inn Poplar Bluff is seeking a Night Auditor to check front office accounting records, summarize daily financial activity, track room revenue and occupancy, and post charges and taxes to guest accounts.

Requirements include high school graduate, at least one year of hotel front desk supervisory experience, cash handling and accounting procedures, and familiarity with property management software (PMS).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used by the guests.
• Minimum one year of hotel front desk supervisory experience.
• Experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
• Processes guest charges vouchers and credit card vouchers.
• Post charges to guest accounts not posted during the day.
• Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
• Checks to ensure charges are allocated to appropriate departments.
• Verify front desk transactions are supported and properly posted.
• Verify charges posted from PMS/SPA software match guest folios.
• Prints up and files reservations for the next business day.
• Verifies all account postings and balances.
• Verify room rates and post to guest accounts.
• Monitor coupons, discounts, and other promotions.
• Function as a front desk agent for check-in/check-out when needed.
• Summarizes results of operations for management.
• Run end-of-day procedures in PMS.
