Job summary

Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort and Spa is seeking a full-time Night Auditor to oversee nightly accounting duties and front desk operations. The role calls for balancing the day’s receipts, generating nightly reports, and ensuring smooth overnight handling of guest requests.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be eligible to work in the USA, and ready to work a mid-night shift with attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Work permit and legal eligibility to be employed in the USA.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles is helpful.
• Must be able to problem-solve and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond to emergency situations.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and staff in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain attendance per hotel standards and varying schedules.
• Uphold uniform and grooming standards.
• Comply with company standards to ensure safe operations.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Initiate and complete End of Day process.
• Run nightly reports for the Food and Beverage audit.
• Complete Night Audit checklist and balance daily work.
• Maintain cashiering responsibilities per front office procedures.
• Maintain front office systems and cashiering per procedures.
• Handle guest requests between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures according to hotel standards.
• Maintain proper record keeping per company standards.
• Be familiar with all company policies and house rules.
• Maintain radio contact with staff during shift.
• Have working knowledge of security procedures.
• Ensure employees are attentive, helpful, and courteous.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.
