Job summary

Echo Suites Johnson City is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented night auditor to join our team as a part-time position. This role supports overnight operations and financial reporting while assisting guests during check-in and check-out.

The Night Auditor will perform the nightly audit, verify billing accuracy, and maintain guest information with a focus on service quality. Prior guest service experience is preferred, and hotel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service or customer service experience preferred.
• Hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, reliable, mature and self-motivated.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests during overnight check-in and check-out procedures.
• Assist guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional and timely manner.
• Handle guest complaints, research and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and consistently exceed expectations.
• Process registrations, payments, room assignments, and room key issuance.
• Verify guest information, rates, billing for accuracy.
• Complete nightly audit process accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, rates and promotions.
• Provide guests with local area information and timely responses.
• Support overnight hotel operations and guest relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests during overnight check-in and check-out procedures
• Assists guests with reservations and requests in a friendly, professional and timely manner
• Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
• Anticipate guests’ needs and consistently exceed their expectations
• Process registrations, payments, room assignments, and room key issuance
• Verify guest information, rates, billing for accuracy
• Complete registration, secure payment, and adjust billing as needed
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns
• Complete the nightly audit process accurately and efficiently
• Maintain detailed knowledge of hotel services, amenities, room types, rates, packages and promotions
• Provide guests with information about local attractions and services
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards
• Support overall hotel operations during overnight hours
• Build strong relationships with guests, clients and groups while maintaining professional integrity
• Provide knowledge of the local area to assist guest inquiries
• Help with laundry, as needed
• Build strong, professional relationships with guests, clients, and groups
