Job summary

Valor is seeking a Night Audit/Guest Services coordinator in Starkville to perform close of day for the Guest Service area and to verify daily activity. You will balance cash, post accounts, and run daily reports, ensuring accuracy across front desk and F&B systems.

The role requires a high school education or equivalent, 6–12 months in related positions, strong computer and cash handling skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Six to twelve months of employment in related position or office setting.
• Accounting or hospitality experience a bonus.
• Requires excellent computer and cash handling skills, ability to stand for extended periods, sociable, outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to adapt to changing guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Audit, balance and report on cash and credit operations for food & beverage outlets and cash handling.
• Reconcile cashier’s reports with the restaurant system nightly and post unresolved tickets.
• Maintain and post a daily balance of house accounts with reconciliations.
• Audit, balance and report on front desk activities including room charges and deposits.
• Prepare statistics and income journals for daily reports.
• Produce accurate reports and handle cash transactions timely.
• Balance and audit room revenue, F&B revenue, cashier’s reports and guest accounts.
• Transmit credit card batches and run night audit final after revenues balance.
• Act as hotel system liaison during night hours and support guest services duties.
