Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $18.00/hr

The Night Auditor is responsible for assisting guests at check-in and check-out, answering and processing phone calls, and handling all special requests for services or information in accordance with brand and Gulf Coast standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Assist guests and meet hotel needs that arise in the absence of the GM and/or AGM.
  2. Ensure that all service provided is consistently prompt and courteous, designed to meet high standards of quality resulting in guest satisfaction and repeat business.
  3. Greet after-hours guests, assist with check-ins and check-outs, register and assign rooms, issue room keys/cards, explain room features, transmit and receive messages, keep records of occupied rooms and guest accounts, make change, confirm reservations, compute bills, present statements, and collect payments.
  4. Perform physical inspections of the property.
  5. Respond to any problems or issues after normal business hours, clock in and out for all calls and work performed.
  6. Maintain proficiency in all location computer and software systems.
  7. Provide guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, room features, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
  8. Record guest comments or complaints, referring guests to GM as necessary.
  9. Know property emergency procedures and respond to emergency situations promptly.
  10. Help clean and maintain common areas within the hotel, ensuring guest safety and cleanliness standards.
  11. Assist in laundry room activities.
  12. Notify GM or Maintenance of repairs needed.
  13. Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
  14. Wear appropriate attire per the dress code.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills include:

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, see clearly, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various environmental conditions.
Experience and Requirements:
  • 1 year hospitality experience preferred.
  • Work authorization and pre-employment drug screening required.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
