Duties and Expectations
- Guest Relations: Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
- Name Use: Use the guests’ names whenever possible, ensuring they feel properly welcomed.
- Guest Satisfaction: All team members work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores.
- Recovery: Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
- Hotel Knowledge: Strong knowledge of all features of the hotel facility and amenities.
- Events: Support all groups and events at the hotel.
- Technology: Understand relevant technology for the role.
- Phone Etiquette: Answer all calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
- Cleanliness: Keep all areas, front and back of the house, clean and organized.
- Pitching In: Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed, greeting guests with a smile.
- Product Quality: Complete checklists accurately and timely; ensure shift handover reports are precise.
- Uniform & Grooming: Wear a clean, approved uniform, be well-groomed, wear a nametag, and smile.
- Communication: Maintain clear, honest, and professional communication.
- Attitude & Collaboration: Be willing to go beyond traditional roles, work well with others, and create a welcoming environment.
Role-Specific Duties
- Audit Management: Complete and send reports by the designated time.
- Security: Follow protocols for safety, lock exterior entrances, handle late arrivals, and address security issues.
- Incoming Mail: Receive and record all incoming mail per the shift checklist.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in hospitality or related fields preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow guidelines and work under pressure.
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Desire to serve guests.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Willing to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Arrive and clock in/out on time; work off the clock is not permitted.
- Handle physical demands: stand, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and move throughout the hotel.
- Effective English communication skills.
