The Night Auditor is responsible for checking Front Office accounting records for accuracy daily, summarizing, and compiling information for the hotel's financial records. This includes tracking room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other Front Office operating statistics. The role also involves preparing a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day, and posting room charges and taxes to guest accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner, maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Promote a positive work environment by addressing and resolving conflicts calmly.
• Provide quality service to guests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs, assign rooms, assist with reservations, and handle payments.
• Transfer charges to master accounts, verify postings and balances.
• Prepare reservations for the next day.
• Track revenue and occupancy statistics.
• Summarize cash, check, and credit card activities.
• Verify and document financial information accurately.
• Follow the End of Day/Night Audit Checklist.
• Perform wake-up calls and run end-of-day processes in PMS.
• Stay informed on hotel communications.
• Adhere to credit and inventory control procedures to minimize revenue loss.
• Monitor customer accounts for credit adherence and verify registration details.
• Follow hotel policies on cash handling and deposits.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, reporting issues immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
