Job summary

Rancho Cordova Homewood Suites by Hilton in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight front desk operations and guest services. You will verify charges, balance cash drawer, prepare reports, and assist guests with requests while maintaining accuracy and a friendly hospitality mindset.

Day-to-day duties include greeting guests, processing payments, and supporting hotel operations with integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 6 months – 1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred.
• Desire to work overnight shifts.
• A friendly, positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to keep confidential guest information with integrity.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions.
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with integrity.
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has starting cash.
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list and balance sheet.
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate.
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests.
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis.
• Assists with continental breakfast preparation and replenishment.
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions.
• May be required to make management decisions in the manager's absence.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, account summary, history file, and housekeeping report
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis
• Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed
• May be required to make management decisions in manager's absence
• All other duties as assigned
