Job summary

Tharaldson Hospitality Management is seeking a Night Auditor for Cypress Homewood Suites by Hilton in Cypress, CA. This overnight role focuses on guest service and ensuring the hotel is prepared for the next day. You will welcome guests, process cash and transactions, verify charges, and manage daily reports.

Qualifications

• 6 months–1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred.
• Overnight shift availability required.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Professional and calm under guest concerns.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, account summary, history file, and housekeeping report
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis
• Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed
• May be required to make management decisions in manager's absence
• All other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
