The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Responsibilities include balancing duties, handling daily paperwork, and preparing shift reports. During these duties, the Night Auditor will also attend to guest needs such as check-in/check-out, making reservations, and answering questions.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Proactive thinking with a focus on guest security, creating a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
2. Counting cash and maintaining accuracy of the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift.
3. Checking the front desk log for issues and special requests.
4. Greeting guests, registering, and assigning rooms.
5. Processing guest registrations and payments.
6. Preparing express checkout folios.
7. Maintaining room status inventory.
8. Communicating shift information to relevant staff including the Front Office Manager and General Manager.
9. Maintaining cleanliness of the lobby and bathrooms as needed.
10. Ensuring smooth shift transitions through effective communication.
11. Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
12. Responding to inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
13. Completing shift paperwork and nightly audit reports daily.
14. Performing additional duties as assigned by management.
