Job summary

Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Resort is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee nightly auditing, posting and balancing of financial transactions to support guest service and profitability. You will audit cashier's work for outlets and ensure credit card reconciliation while monitoring team performance during overnight hours.

Requirements include at least 1 year of night audit experience in a hotel, cash handling and front desk knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work night shift.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Night Audit at a hotel.
• Experience at hotel front desk is a plus.
• Cash handling and credit experience required.
• Ability to post and balance large charges accurately and efficiently.
• Knowledge of accounting operations including accounts receivable and payroll.

Description

The Kingston Resorts is a 145 acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20 minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. As Night Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Audit, post and balance daily cashier's work for outlets including, but not limited to. outlets in Rooms and Food & Beverage.
• Ensure Credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists
• Schedule, assign daily work, inform and rain team members
• Monitor, observe and assist in evaluate team member performance

Qualifications

• Must be able to work night shift
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as Night Audit at a hotel
• Experience working at the front desk of hotel, a plus!
• Cash handling and credit experience
• Must possess the ability to post and balance large amounts of charges efficiently and accurately
• Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects, such as, accounts, receivable, payroll, etc.

This is a full-time, year-round position working at Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Resort. 11PM to 7AM shift schedule is required, including weekends and holidays.
