As a Gallery Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction through check-in, check-out, and attentive coordination of hotel services for each guest. Your focus will be on enhancing each guest’s experience by promoting hotel services, facilities, outlets, and providing information about upcoming events/functions in the hotel and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least one year of hotel, customer service, and/or sales experience. Special consideration will be given to those with a proven track record of exemplary customer service or sales performance in other business fields, along with strong leadership abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in computer skills including Word, Excel, Adobe, and guest and employee management practices.
- Be friendly, customer-centric, love to smile, and have knowledge of the local area.
- Possess good computer skills and experience with brand POS systems.
- Register guests promptly and courteously using up-selling techniques to maximize room rates; prepare for group check-ins, check-outs, and VIP arrivals. Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests. Answer phones efficiently and friendly.
- Ensure a complete guest experience, including managing the Gallery Host Stand, Guest Kitchen, e-room, guest check-in and out, and servicing meeting rooms.
- Respond quickly and amicably to guest requests or complaints, taking appropriate action and following up to ensure satisfaction. Use creative reasoning to overcome objections and concerns, aiming for 100% guest satisfaction.
- Complete daily paperwork, including cashing out, documenting adjustments, postings, paid outs, charges, and check-outs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and image at all times.
