Duties and Expectations
1. Happy Guests
- Guest Relations: Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
- Name Use: Use the guests’ names whenever possible, ensuring they feel properly welcomed.
- Guest Satisfaction: All Team Members work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores.
- Recovery: Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
- Hotel Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of all features of the hotel facility and amenities.
- Events: Be aware of and support all groups and events at the hotel.
- Technology: Understand relevant technology for your role.
- Phone Etiquette: Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
2. Spotless Cleanliness
- Sparkling Workspaces: Keep all areas, front and back of the house, clean and well-organized.
- Pitching In: Contribute to cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed, ensuring the hotel remains organized and safe.
- Hospitality While Cleaning: Greet guests happily with a smile, by name if possible, while cleaning.
3. Product Consistency & Quality
- Checklists to 100% Accuracy: Complete all operational checklists accurately and timely each shift.
- Shift Handover Reports: Ensure handover reports are accurate and on time for effective communication.
- Flawless Uniform: Wear a clean, approved uniform, be well-groomed, wear a nametag, and smile at all times.
4. Teamwork
- Communication: Maintain clear, honest, and professional communication with team members.
- Can Do Attitude: Be willing to stretch beyond traditional roles to meet guest and business needs.
- Collaboration: Work together at all levels to create a welcoming environment and a positive workplace.
SECTION TWO: Night Auditor, Role Specific Duties and Expectations
Other Duties and Expectations
- Audit Management: Complete and send all hotel audit-related reports by the designated time on the overnight checklist.
- Security: Follow overnight security measures, including locking exterior entrances at designated times and handling safety/security issues per protocols.
- Incoming Mail: Receive and note all incoming mail as required per the daily shift checklist.

SECTION FOUR: Qualifications & Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise, or related field preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to understand and follow guidelines and procedures.
- Work well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Desire to serve guests.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Arrive and clock in/out on time, and never work off the clock.
- Properly clock in/out for breaks.
- Provide notice when calling out for shifts.
Physical Working Demands & Environment:
Regularly required to stand, type, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and move throughout the hotel. Noise level is moderate.
Language + Reasoning Skills:
- Effective reading, writing, understanding, and communication in English.
