Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dulles is seeking a Night Audit team member to ensure financial controls and hotel standards are upheld. You will prepare revenue reports, balance accounts nightly, and coordinate with Security and Housekeeping to maintain quality service for guests.

The role requires basic math, 10-key proficiency, and solid communication skills to handle guest and colleague questions. On-site schedule with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform 10-key calculations.
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and associate concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing POS tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiter fees, tips, and settlements by type and cashier.
• Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, POS and the computer.
• Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems during the shift.
• Input revenue/expenses/allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports such as Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
