The purpose of a NIGHT AUDITOR is to compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to maintain accurate financial data and ensure the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions.

Compensation: $20/hour

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday Off

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
2. Comply with all standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
3. Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
4. Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
5. Run reports required for Food and Beverage audit.
6. Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
7. Balance the day’s work.
8. Maintain cashiering responsibilities as per Front Office procedures.
9. Operate the Front Office computer system.
10. Perform all Front Office functions between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
11. Handle and follow up on all guest requests during the night shift.
12. Follow safety and emergency procedures.
13. Maintain proper record keeping (log books, etc.).
14. Be familiar with all policies and house rules.
15. Prepare and submit initial direct bills daily, attaching all backup documents.
16. Maintain radio contact with other employees during the shift.
17. Be knowledgeable of security procedures.
18. Ensure employees are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests and colleagues.
19. Prepare and distribute the Daily Flash Report.
20. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience in a hotel or related field is advantageous. Completion of Bartender's school or course is preferred.
