Hanover Hilton Garden Inn by Hilton Arundel Mills BWI Airport in Hanover, MD is seeking a Night Auditor to cover overnight shifts. You will welcome guests, verify charges, and balance cash to ensure the hotel is prepared for the next day.

This full-time role requires reliability, strong communication, and discretion with guest information. Prior night audit or cashier experience is preferred; a high school diploma is common for applicants.

Qualifications

• 6 months – 1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred.
• Desire to work overnight shifts.
• Friendly, positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm when handling guest concerns.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions.
• Handles confidential information with a high degree of integrity.
• Verifies room charges and ensures correct starting cash.
• Manages daily paperwork: occupancy reports, guest list, cash drawer, balance sheet.
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent as needed and submits reports to management.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, account summary, history file, and housekeeping report
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis
• Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed
• May be required to make management decisions in manager’s absence
• All other duties as assigned
