Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor for our Rochester location. This part‑time role focuses on nightly accounting, front desk support, and guest transactions to ensure accurate daily revenue reporting and smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of accounting or night audit experience, knowledge of PMS, and strong communication skills. Benefits include health options, a 401(k) plan, PTO, and employee perks as part of a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditor role.
• Knowledge of PMS systems and front desk operations.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily guest ledger and post room rates.
• Close out day with accurate end‑of‑day accounting.
• Ensure charges to guest folios are correct.
• Process accounts receivable from various departments.
• Front desk duties: check‑in/out, reservations, guest issues.
• Cash drops and maintaining front desk readiness for shifts.
• Monitor security systems and ensure lobby conditions.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Audits the daily guestledger

Handles all end‑of‑day accounting functions including posting daily room rates and roomtax

Ensures accuracy of all charges toguest folios

Averages sum of revenues of all accounts receivable from food, room andother departments

Acts as front desk clerk, checking guests in and out, bookingreservations and resolving guest issues

Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash handlingprocedures

Organize the Front Desk area so that the A.M. Front Desk staff can properly prepare for theirshift

Monitors hotel security camerasystem

Ensures that lobby is well‑maintained, properly lit and with music at proper volume

Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Any other duties asassigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditorrole

Knowledge of PMS

High School Diploma/GED

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to multi‑task

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Team player

Ability to exceed expectations of guests

Basic accounting/math skills
