Job Description:

The Night Auditor will be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions. Key responsibilities include:

• Completing all required training
• Working independently as the overnight hotel support role
• Adhering to standard operating procedures and brand standards
• Performing additional duties as requested by management to improve hotel operations and guest service
• Providing personalized, friendly service to guests and associates
• Balancing daily business in an organized and timely manner
• Working overnight and being available for other shifts at the front desk as needed
• Having knowledge of hotel systems including PBX, key lock, and PMS reservation systems
• Completing shift checklists and monitoring guest account credits
• Maintaining cash drawer security and balance
• Selling and upselling rooms to walk-in guests and reservations
• Having general knowledge of housekeeping operations

Necessary Skills:

• Maintaining confidentiality of company business functions
• Ensuring safety and security of guests, staff, and assets
• Knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures
• Effective communication skills in writing and verbally
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
