Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor for a part-time role in California. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in accounting or as a Night Auditor and can manage front desk tasks and nightly accounting with accuracy.

You will audit daily guest ledgers, post room rates and taxes, handle guest folios, and assist with reservations while delivering friendly service. The schedule includes nights, weekends and holidays, with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditor role.
• Knowledge of PMS.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Team player.
• Basic accounting/math skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit the daily guest ledger.
• Post daily room rates and room tax.
• Ensure accuracy of charges to guest folios.
• Average revenues across accounts receivable from food, room and other departments.
• Attend front desk duties: check-in/out, reservations, guest issues.
• Make cash drops following cash handling procedures.
• Organize Front Desk area for morning staff.
• Monitor hotel security camera system.
• Ensure lobby is well-lit and properly maintained.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Audits the daily guestledger

Handles all end-of-day accounting functions including posting daily room rates and roomtax

Ensures accuracy of all charges toguest folios

Averages sum of revenues of all accounts receivable from food, room andother departments

Acts as front desk clerk, checking guests in and out, bookingreservations and resolving guest issues

Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash handlingprocedures

Organize the Front Desk area so that the A.M. Front Desk staff can properly prepare for theirshift

Monitors hotel security camerasystem

Ensures that lobby is well-maintained, properly lit and with music at proper volume

Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Any other duties asassigned

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditorrole

Knowledge of PMS

High School Diploma/GED

• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to multi-task

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
