You will lead the night audit team, balance accounts, and ensure accurate reporting while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Ideal candidates bring Front Desk or night audit experience, strong attention to detail, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; accounting/hospitality education is a plus.
• 6+ months Front Desk experience.
• Night audit experience or similar position preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in hotel PMS and accounting software; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the night audit team to ensure accurate, timely financial processes.
• Balance accounts, verify charges, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Monitor adherence to hotel policies during the night shift.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and security for smooth night operations.
• Train and mentor night audit staff; implement new processes and technologies.

The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center’s name reflects the contributions of the extraordinary entrepreneur, Andrew Higgins, who designed and built over 20,000 boats in New Orleans that were used in every major amphibious assault of World War II.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the night audit team to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial processes and reports.
• Conduct night audit procedures, including balancing accounts, verifying charges, and reconciling discrepancies.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures during the night shift.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and security, to ensure smooth operations during the night.
• Provide exceptional guest service, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
• Train and mentor night audit team members, providing guidance and support.
• Assist in the implementation of new processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or hospitality is a plus.
