Homewood Suites by Hilton Amherst is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight front desk operations at 1138 Millersport Highway, Amherst, NY. The Night Auditor will greet guests, process check-ins/outs, balance accounts, and support guest needs while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include handling reservations, preparing folios, managing breakfast setup, and performing night audit duties.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience, hotel setting preferred.
• Hilton experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, Word, and Excel is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests and completing check-in/check-out through the property management system.
• Handling cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
• Informing guests about hotel services and accommodating their needs, responding promptly to requests.
• Taking reservations and entering information into the hotel management system; updating/canceling as requested.
• Balancing room accounts, vouchers, and night audit tasks; running trial balance reports.
• Preparing guest folios for express check-out.
• Set up and maintain breakfast buffet in an organized, clean presentation.
• Stock beverages and breakfast items; set out serving dishes and utensils.
• Perform additional assignments as required.

Homewood Suites by Hilton /Buffalo-Amherst, 1138 Millersport Highway, Amherst, NY 14226 We are looking for a Night Auditor to join our Team! Our spacious Homewood Suites by Hilton is just off I-290, the University of Buffalo is one mile away and we’re two miles from Boulevard Mall. Walden Galleria is seven miles south and we’re 20 minutes from The Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls. We are an extended stay hotel and we offer a choice of 93 spacious suites with full kitchens to our guests. A great place to stay, a great place to work. The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Amherst is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

The Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during overnight hours and provides superior service to all guests.

Responsibilities Include

• Greeting guests, complete the check- in/ check-out procedure through the Property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handles cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
• Identifying the needs of each guest and provides relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities, to create an accommodating environment for all. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers inputs all pertinent information into the hotel management system. Updates and cancels reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
• Organizes previous shifts paperwork, closes and balances all room accounts and vouchers, investigates and analyzes out of balance situations, runs trial balance reports and night audit.
• Prepares guest folios for express check out.
• Load and operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Fold and stack towels, sheets and other linens.
• Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet in an attractive and abundant-looking, organized clean and standardized presentation.
• Prepare foods such as cut fruit, coffee and juices etc.
• Stock, coffee, juice and milk containers.
• Set up serving dishes, utensils, cups and other paper/china products.
• Set out/arrange cold food such as sweet rolls, muffins and cereal for self service.
• Warm and set out/arranging hot food such as hash browns, French toast, etc.
• Perform additional assignments as required.

Pay range: $18.00-$19.00

• Must have valid drivers license, and acceptable driving history subject to company approval .
• Typical Schedule : Overnights, 11 PM- 7 AM Weekend Availability needed
